Just a reminder that not all awards have a wage increase from 1st July this year.
The Fair Work Commission has announced a 1.75% increase in the national minimum wage and award minimum wages. This year, the increase in wages is occurring in 3 phases.
From the first full pay period starting on or after 1 July, the national minimum wage and minimum wages in 21 awards covering essential services, teachers and childcare, and frontline healthcare and social assistance workers will all increase. Minimum wages under other awards will increase from the first full pay period starting on or after 1 November 2020 and 1 February 2021.
